WALLS OF HEAVEN JEWELRY®
Walls of Heaven Jewelry® is a special line of jewelry I have created to celebrate
my Christian faith. The stones I use in this collection are all described in
Revelation 21:15-21 as being part of the foundational walls of heaven. These
stones include jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, carnelian,
chrysolite (peridot), beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth (red zircon), amethyst,
and pearls. I love this collection because it is a way to celebrate your faith
without having to wear the traditional cross.
MY DESIGN PROCESS
stone I like, whether it will be used as a focal point or just an accent, I use it as
my foundation and play around with other materials and turn to my other
sources of inspiration as I create. I don't really have too much of a formula for
my work. I find that my favorite pieces are the ones that "just happen." I love it
when I am able to set aside a block of time to just put different materials
together and see how they work.

For the most part I know what kind of jewelry I'm going to make (a necklace,
bracelet, or a pair of earrings) but beyond that I don't go in with too much
planning. When I do plan ahead I like to keep it as open ended as possible,
therefore I choose a color range (greens, blues, browns, etc.) or one specific
stone or metal accent to work around.

When I work on a custom piece of jewelry, my strategy has to be more exact.
Clients, for the most part, know exactly what they want including stone
selection, style, length, etc. It's always fun to show clients the plethora of
options before them and watch as we put together their dream piece of jewelry!

I absolutely love my job and I can't imagine life without creating jewelry. I am
constantly learning new techniques, discovering new materials, and meeting
amazing new people. I hope that you enjoy looking at my work and decide to
contact me about a purchase or come see me at one of my upcoming shows!
I find inspiration everywhere. I love to look to
nature, history (especially ancient history),
my Christian faith, and just the world around
me for ideas.  But I have to say that the
stones I work with are what inspire me the
most. Man could never create the beauty that
is found in these natural gemstones; the
colors, patterns, and textures are spectacular!
So, when I go to make a piece of jewelry I
tend to look to my stones first. When I find a
